The Dark Horse Lifestyle by Zeke Andino was created in 2020.

The concept of a dark horse and the meaning behind it is something I can relate to and hold dearly to myself as I feel I've been the underdog in many situations throughout my life whether it be when I played footy, was wrestling and doing rigorous training camps or just certain situations and circumstances that life throws at you.

I was often underestimated and criticised for wanting to follow my dreams as a professional wrestler along with other aspirations and to be different from everyone else. Something I’ve always said is that I never wanted to live an ordinary lifestyle. One of the many goals behind this brand is to inspire others to take the road less travelled and to chase their dreams. Whether it be wanting to be an Olympian, start their own brand, get a degree. Whatever it may be, take risk and don’t let anything get in the way between you and achieving your goals and making your dreams a reality.

I believe some of the best ways to learn in life is to challenge yourself and face adversity. A part of this brand is encouraging you to step outside your comfort zone and do something that may seem impossible to you. The feeling of accomplishing something that you thought you couldn’t do is extremely rewarding.

“You never fail. You either win or you learn”

There will be many times where a lot of people will laugh at you, judge you and make you second guess yourself. There will be times of doubt and thoughts of wanting to give up. But this is what being a dark horse is all about. It's about digging deep when the going gets tough, proving people wrong and showing your true worth. It is also being aware that you are in your own lane in life. Don't worry about what others think or else you'll constantly question decisions you make in your life and second guess yourself. Work hard, train hard, and make everything you do count.

This is the beginning of something unique and special. Dark Horse isn't just a name or a logo on a shirt. This is something that has a significant amount of meaning to myself and, dare I say, a great deal of the population. 

We all have a dark horse within us. It's up to you on how you will rise up, defy the odds and be triumphant.
